Inspiring Self-Esteem, Confidence, & Team Building through Theater Arts

This high energy workshop will provide strategies for inclusion, acceptance, confidence, and self-esteem through participation in theater arts. Be prepared to have lots of fun and go home with valuable motivational skills. Dress comfortably to actively participate.

More than being an artistic director, Michael considers himself a “motivator”- using musical theater as his motivational tool. His motto for over 30 years has been “When You Try Your Best, You Can Do Anything”.

Motivating individuals with the magic of performing in LIVE musical theater provides an opportunity to transform them on the stage and in life.

 Learning Objectives:

  • Learn how theater is a key component to inclusion and acceptance.
  • Understand how theater arts motivates self-esteem and confidence, so individuals with disabilities can take on the challenges of life.
  • Learn strategies to build recognition and rewards through repetition of musical theater skills.
  • Understand the importance of performance themes and their role in teaching valuable life lessons.
  • Learn the importance of encouragement as an important tool for the motivation and success of participants.
